Morkie puppies are a combination between a yorkshire terrier parent and a maltese parent.  These puppies usually end up at an adult weight of 4 -10 pounds and can be from 7 inches - 12 inches at the shoulder.  They can be brown with black, black with tan, cream/beige, black and on occassion brindle.  Maltese are said to be the gentlest mannered of all little dogs.  This breed is affectionate, intelligent and seemingly fearless.  The yorkshire terrier is loaded with spirit.  The combination produces a playful, bouncy and inquistive puppy.  The exercise needs are minimal, making it a good choice for stay-at-homes, couch potatoes or families with limited accommodations.
